Is Pakistan Qualify For FIFA World Cup 2022?

It is difficult to say if Pakistan will qualify for the FIFA World Cup 2022 after their performance against Yemen last Tuesday. Since 1989, Pakistan has failed to win a single match in 32 attempts. In fact, their worst qualifying record is that of an 0-2 record against Yemen in 2015. In the last three years, Pakistan has only managed to play one competitive match, and this was due to a controversial election in the Hayat party.

The situation in Pakistan’s football scene has been plagued by political unrest. Two factions, one of which is led by Faisal Saleh Hayat, have sworn to keep the game alive. The other faction, which is supported by FIFA, is not recognized locally. However, the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) has a president, Ashfaq Hussain Shah, who was elected by the country’s Supreme Court.

In addition to the controversy over the 2018 World Cup, the FIFA has not decided how many teams will be participating in the tournament. The number of countries that will participate in the tournament has yet to be determined, but the country has a good chance to qualify. As a result, the political scene is a mess. It has been reported that the Pakistan football federation is not recognized by the local sports authorities and is dominated by Faisal Saleh Hayat. While this faction has some players based abroad, they do not represent the whole country’s soccer fans.

The Hayat faction has withdrew Pakistan from various events in the past month, including the Saff Women’s Championship and AFC U23 Championship. In the meantime, the Hayat faction has also withdrawn from the Olympic 2020 qualifiers. It is possible that the opposition has been working with Hayat and have agreed to a boycott. But it is not clear whether or not they will do so.

Unlike Bangladesh, the country has not qualified for a FIFA World Cup in the past. The country’s national team is governed by the Pakistan Football Federation and all of its football clubs. It is a member of both FIFA and the Asian Football Confederation. The federation will determine who will be allowed to participate in the tournament. The winner will be the country’s representative in the World Cup.

It is possible that Pakistan will qualify for the FIFA World Cup in 2022. The governing body of the sport is the PFF, which is part of the FIFA and Asian Football Confederation. It is expected that the PFF will play their final in October 2018. If not, they will play their playoffs on November 8 in Qatar. The federation is a member of both FIFA and the Asian Football Confederation.
